Our MISSION: Is to educate baccalaureate nurses to provide high quality health care to the community.
Our VISION: Our commitment to be an innovative leader in providing quality nurse anesthesia education and community service.
Founded in 1972, the Kaiser Permanente School of Anesthesia (KPSA) is a pioneer of graduate-level education for nurse anesthetists. Our graduates have achieved academic excellence and have been recognized for significant contributions to clinical practice and research in the field of anesthesia. These alumni have also attained leadership roles in clinical settings as well as national professional organizations.
Together with California State University, Fullerton, (CSUF) we have developed a two year sequential academic and clinical graduate program for nurses with a baccalaureate degree. Upon completion of the program, a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Nurse Anesthesia, is awarded by CSUF. Learn more
